Positive: The hosts Nao and Walde made our stay very memorable. The cottage is beautifully decorated, it’s a private jungle setting with lovely views over the valley. We enjoyed the outdoor bathroom which was very special. Walde is an excellent chef and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the wooden deck and a yummy dinner in our room. It’s a quiet and peaceful setting and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Positive: Tanawatu Hill was by far the most wonderful positive surprise of our months-long trip. The bungalow was beautifully designed and decorated, with an exceptional sense of taste and comfort. Far away from any noise, it’s the perfect place to relax for a few days. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent. Overall, it was an extremely beautiful and memorable experience — absolutely recommendable.

Positive: The room is an indoor/ outdoor space, comfortable and stylish and the view is gorgeous. The hosts Neo and Walde were friendly while also giving us plenty of privacy. We enjoyed talking with Neo and learning more about his work with local people while helping the environment. Walde is a great cook, all the meals were excellent and served in the most idyllic location. The outdoor bathroom is also very cool. We loved every moment of our stay.

Positive: Astonishing view, the owners are absolutely adorable and the bungalow was beyond our wildest dreams. So serene and peaceful. And the best part on the property they have the loveliest cat (hi Titi) and a doggo with young babies. All around perfect experience the hosts are so nice to talk to, definitely coming back very highly recommended.

Negative: Google maps sends you a bit off please contact the property before getting there it will save you a little bit of time. Once we did local people came to help and escort us all the way down to the hidden gem.
